Happy belated new year! I feel like I am finally ramping back up after a very full holiday vacation. I’m spending a lot of time working on a sustainable schedule for work-life balance, and planning out my days in a way that keeps me on track. I have a feeling I’ll need to revisit these structures throughout the year. Hope your year has started off well. To get in the mood to be intentional and organized this year, I made this lovely desk calendar. Sometimes I get stuck in my week by week view of my detailed planner and forget to step back and look at the BIG PICTURE of the whole year. Case in point- my kids have Monday off of school for MLK day, which was not a surprise to me. However, it was a surprise that they have TUESDAY off as well! Sigh. Hence, the need for the long view.
Each page of this calendar fits inside a CD jewel case which you can display on your desk or countertop. (The view below shows two pages per spread). Each month view measures 4.65 x 3.5 inches and contains an original image by me, most of which were featured at www.Onedandelion.wordpress.com, my collaborative photoblog, this past year. If you’d like to order one to add a little practical beauty to your home, they are available for $16. If you live locally, I’d be happy to deliver to you. Otherwise, I’d be happy to ship it anywhere for a small fee. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to place an order, or message me on Facebook.
Here’s to a whole new year, a whole new decade. What are your hopes and goals for the new year, and how will you get there?
