Well, it’s about time I told this story. I’m making time to get caught up on some bloging of past sessions and this was one of my favorites form last December!
We met at one of our favorite coffee shops in town for a little warm-up before we ventured out to the tree farm. It was such a gorgeous winter day, but FREEZING. That’s one of the great things about winter in the Pacific Northwest: it’s usually fairly dry and sunny (contrary to popular belief) but man, does it get cold! The Hepfers are a pretty awesome family. They run a fabulous Crossfit gym in Tacoma, one that I hope to be working out in very soon. You can just feel the love betwen them all. It’s hugs and kisses all the time with them. For real. I didn’t have to nudge them at all. Lisa is a great photographer, which makes it an even greater honor to get to tell their story with my camera.
One of my sweetest holiday memories is going to the Christmas tree farm as a kid and walking through the muddy rows together searching for that perfect tree. I hope this story becomes one of their favorites as well.
