Seattle Newborn Photographer In-Home Session
I literally couldn’t stop smiling the entire time I was editing this session. I remember this stage well, myself. It is precious, and sacred, and disorienting and exhausting. What could be more important in a family’s life than the earth-shattering arrival of the first baby into your home? Those early, groggy days with your little one: the two-person diaper changes with squirmy little turkey legs, the bassinet next to the bed, the baby books on standby, the way you gingerly hold him and pass him to each other, that heavenly soft head. Even Milwaukee, the cat, doesn’t want to miss a moment with this new bundle. Laura and Rob, your little Oliver is perfect. And you are the perfect parents for him. Enjoy these fleeting days and sweet memories. One day soon you will wake up and he will be in high school (trust me!). Thank you for inviting me in.
If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle.
