What do you get when take one super cool couple plus all of their family and closest friends and throw in some pool tables, arcade video games, sunglasses and the best DJ around? One heck of a great wedding. I really don’t take it lightly that they chose me. It is such a privilege and honor to hang out with a couple all day on one of the most important days of their lives. And not only that, but to create artwork out of it.
Katie and Dustin got married at Green River Community College, which has a great event venue (who knew?). One of the best things about this wedding was how much Katie and Dustin’s choices reflected a desire for their guests to truly enjoy themselves and celebrate with them. Their unofficial motto was “come, have a good time!” and I think they succeeded in creating an event where that indeed happened. Just take a look at the rad reception pictures for proof. Katie was stunning in her gown and I loved Dustin’s fun and unique twist on a classic tux with the fuscshia and orange. And theirs might be my favorite First Look moment ever. Maybe one of the sweetest parts of the wedding was that Dustin’s dad performed the ceremony. Ahh! I can’t even imagine what that meant to them all.
Katie and Dustin, congratulations on a beautiful wedding day. Here’s to an even more beautiful marriage.
