Yellowstone photo dump
1. I learned about Old Faithful from Yogi Bear cartoons. Here it is, erupting every 90 minutes like clockwork.
2. Moonscape?
3. How it started. I can’t remember what we did in the car for 12+ hours but I think some people slept. There were snacks. Cowboy music might have been involved.
4. Grand Prismatic. It’s like a rainbow in the earth. Don’t fall in.
5. Stretch break, unposed.
6. Poetic trees in morning mist. This would be a boring picture without the fog. Dog makes everything better.
7. You’ve hear of gorillas in the mist….
8. 4/5 Uhlers and big big sky.
9. Not a postcard. But one of our favorite places to spot wolves and bison.
10. Tatanka with sound effects. And a baby!

Fistful of rosehips. For Sarah.

Midlife is a tsunami of change. A storm. A new poem we get to write. A chance to fall in love with life and ourselves and God in a new way.

I’m brewing up something exciting and juicy for all the midlife matriarchs who want to go deeper in their connection to self, to God, to their bodies, who might be wondering “who am I now?” Or “who is God in my life now?” Stay tuned for more.

It's that time of year again! I only do this once a year and these are some of my favorite sessions. Way better than school pictures! I love watching your kids grown and change year over year.

I had a hard morning as a parent. Shifting into fall is a big move and brings up a lot of feelings and conflicting priorities. In the past I would have just tried to push through and get shi* done. Now. Know better. I can’t do this every time of course, but when I can it overflows in gratitude and productivity and peace. Tell me what soul care looks like for you. No wrong answers.

This man-child is 21 today. His golden birthday! H

This man-child is 21 today. His golden birthday! He’s fishing on a boat in Alaska. I love to watch his adventures out in the world- always living life fully and chasing the next wild frontier, whether on the mountain, in the ocean, on a skateboard, snowboard or snowmobile. Not afraid to be a dissenting voice in a sea of sameness. Always making us laugh the hardest, even if it means laughing at you. We are proud of who you are and who you are becoming, son. Can’t wait to give you a big hug and cook you a birthday dinner (not fish). xo
