Meet the Websters. I can’t tell you how much fun I had with this family. First of all, their girls are all so beautiful and sweet. I have a special connection with little miss E, the middle. Their golden girl B is the kindest big sis and way more mature than her age would lead you to believe (first-born girls, represent!) And baby L makes my ovaries hurt. It’s easy to take pictures of a family that is full of life and creativity, who know how to have a good dance party, who LOVE to be together, and it shows.
We started the session in their home, which is my absolute favorite thing to do, because that’s where the story is. All the juicy details. The things we will miss when our children are gone. Really, I could have stayed there all morning just shooting while they danced together and had fun. My heart felt like it would burst- perfect light, perfect moments, totally unstaged. Real life. It certainly is beautiful.
We did venture out to Drew’s family farm to run around a bit in the lovely winter sun. I love that we got to take pictures where he grew up.
Here’s the way I feel about it: Anyone can learn to use a good camera, can learn to pose and help people coordinate their wardrobes and use lots of tricks (and you need lots!) to get everyone looking at the camera, but what makes my heart soar is telling your story in a different way- seeing the little things and connections, the small gestures, the way light and shadow plays over you in your home. I’m so glad I got to do that for these guys.
Websters, thanks for a whole lot of fun. You guys are beautiful.
I sincerely enjoyed viewing these wonderful photo’s!! What a lovely family they are. “The family that plays together, stay’s together”!!!!! God Bless them!
